ANZAC Day Commemorative Services, Friday April 25th, 2014

For anyone new to town, every year the Embassies of Australia and New Zealand along with many of their partners organize formal events for ANZAC Day. Usually open to the public is the traditional Dawn Service held by the Korean War

Veteran’s Memorial on the National Mall (plan to arrive early) and a service at the National Cathedral. On behalf of our members – past, present, & future – AWA lays a wreath during the Dawn Service. AWA will forward any details as we learn of them &/or watch the official Embassy websites & Facebook pages.
